SUGarland
Sugarland is a 2D animated short created in 2022, as part of my first Design Project. The film is based on a poem I had written earlier that year, 'Sugarland', named after the city in which I was born (Sugarland, Texas). The poem centers around themes of nostalgia and the fleeting nature of one's childhood through abstract imagery.
STYLE EXPLORATIONS
I aimed to have a crayon/color pencil- like style to imitate the way children draw. I made sure to use bright and saturated colors
